SC is a project by Italo Rondinella.
All the objects were photographed on the Turkish coast in front of the Greek island of Lesbos.
All these objects belonged to the hundreds of people who have tried to cross this short stretch of sea in order to reach European shores.
Many of them didn’t succeed.
Most of these objects were collected by the author to be part, together with the photographs, of an exhibition which aims to restore dignity to the anonymous stories of their owners.
Inside each object there is a story.
Inside each story there is a human being.
Inside each human being is our whole humanity.
