I was born in Italy in 1974 and I graduated with a law degree from the University of Bologna. After working as a lawyer for almost a decade I decided to follow my passion: the documentary photography.

I started as a daily photographer for Corriere della Sera. In 2009 I went to Barcelona to study photojournalism at the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Since then to 2012 I worked with the photoreports department of Cordon Press/Corbis photographic agency.

Now I work as a freelance photojournalist and I publish my photo reports in some of the most important current affairs and political international magazines.
